This takes about ten minutes, and one of the questions will take longer than the rest. It's deliberately not a contact form: I'd rather arrive at our conversation knowing where your money is going and what you actually want from all this, than spend fifteen minutes finding out.

What does the business do, in one line

The shape of it Revenue, last twelve months How many people, including you Could you tell me what you kept last month, as a number? Who does your bookkeeping now?

The honest bit Six months from now, what has to be different for this to have been worth it? Be specific, and don't be modest about it. Not "more profit" but the actual number you want to be paying yourself. Not "less stressed" but the week you took off without checking the bank. This is the question I'll hold you to, so make it something you genuinely want rather than something that sounds reasonable. And if it went better than you expect, what would that make possible? The thing you'd do with the money, the time or the choice. Most founders never write this down, which is exactly why it never gets built into the plan. What's the actual reason you're applying now, rather than six months ago? What do you currently pay yourself, and is it consistent? What's the decision in front of you in the next six months?

Fit Which are you applying for? Is the investment something you can make? The Boardroom is weekly for six months. Realistically, can you show up? Anything you'd want me to know before we speak?
